Unlike some of the many tumblrs who share some of the wonderful music they encounter, I have terrible taste in music. It must be terrible, because my post about The Darkness cost me my most tumblrfamous follower. I didn’t even get a chance to printscreen it and post on my fridge!
hey, thanks for the shout out! as for the scene cred, fuck it. post what you like & fuck everyone else. when i was in high school, my friends and i used to put “scenes from an italian restaurant” on the jukebox at the pool hall because it pissed people off enough, being crazy long and a totally cheesy pick, to provoke them to put on better music. fun times.

Tumblr is interesting because it updates in real time, forming the collective thought of what feels like a very young mind, quick to learn and revel endlessly in the subtle antics of memedom. I had to quit when the content of this collective feed merged together so cohesively that nothing was interesting anymore, like what happens at every high school lunch table. You can't go back to those days for a reason. Here's where I live now.
