Monteray is uneventful. We laid on the beach for a few hours but the town depressed us. The sand is like fools gold and the wind is chilling. We are headed back to SF instead of SLO. What can I say? We are city folk.

We arrived at night and I was a little creeped out by the size of the trees but then we woke up in the redwoods and I couldn’t get the forest elf song from sifl n olly out of my head.

Tumblr is interesting because it updates in real time, forming the collective thought of what feels like a very young mind, quick to learn and revel endlessly in the subtle antics of memedom. I had to quit when the content of this collective feed merged together so cohesively that nothing was interesting anymore, like what happens at every high school lunch table.
